TEHRAN, Apr. 19 (MNA) – The Prime Minister of German state of Lower Saxony, Stephan Weil, brokered an MoU between Tehran University of Medical Sciences, the Hannover Medical School, and the University of Göttingen.

The Prime Minister of the German state of Lower Saxony, Stephan Weil, who has been in Tehran since April 15, met with Ali Jafarian, the President of Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS), and a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between TUMS, the Hannover Medical School (MHH), and the University of Göttingen (GAU).

The five-year MoU eases for the faculty members and researchers of the three universities to attend the conferences, seminars, and scientific venues held in Iran and Germany, in addition to facilitating scientific interactions, joint research projects, and the exchange of students for academic programs.

Dr. Ali Jafarian, the President of TUMS, warmly welcomed the German delegation was and briefed the visitors about the history and background of Iran’s oldest modern medical university.

Then Professor Madjid Samii went behind the lectern and described the all three universities as good educational centers that have trained thousands of experts and physicians in years.

Dr. Kheradmand, Dr, Kramer, Dr. Baum, and Stephan Weil were the others who addressed the event and welcomed the MoU.
