TEHRAN, Apr. 17 (MNA) – Iranian FM announcing his upcoming visit to Venezuela and Latin American countries, said he will consult with Venezuelan counterpart on the expansion of ties between the two countries.

Mohammad Javad Zarif made the remarks in a meeting here on Saturday with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela Delcy Rodríguez and the accompanying high-ranking economic delegation.

The two sides stressed expansion of all-out ties between the two states, with Dr. Zarif calling for closer Tehran-Caracas constructive cooperation in the international community.

Foreign minister referred to the conditions under sanctions, saying “we faced a lot of problems in the field of oil during sanctions period.” He underlined Iran tries to restore its past normal capacity.

He referred to his upcoming visit to Latin America and urged stronger relations between the two states in all fields particularly in fields of banking, pharmacy ccoperation.

Venezuela FM, for her part, welcomed Zarif's scheduled visit to Caracas, adding that Venezuela has always declared that Iran has a right to revive its share of the oil market.

“Venezuela is keen to promote all-out ties with Iran and expand cooperation with Tehran in Non-Aligned Movement (NAM),” she added.
