TEHRAN, Apr. 16 (MNA) – Iran’s Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani will pay a visit to Moscow in upcoming week, twits Iran’s ambassador to Russia.

Mehdi Senaei posted the story on his Facebook page on Saturday. “Yesterday (Friday), during my address in the occasion of Iran’s National Army Day here in Moscow, I made passing hints to exchange of high-ranking officials between two countries which included a visit by Ali Larijani, our Parliament speaker in the upcoming week,” read the Facebook post.

“Larijani’s visit will bring him to the first meeting of the Speakers of Parliament of the Eurasian states, where he will also meet in several bilateral sessions with his counterparts,” it said. “Iran’s Hossein Dehghan, the defense minister, will follow Larijani to Moscow to participate in the 5th Moscow Conference on International Security, and by an official invitation made by his Russian counterpart General Sergey Kuzhugetovich Shoygu,” the post added.

“Iran’s National Army Day was commemorated in Moscow with participation of ambassadors and military attaches on Friday,” it said.
