TEHRAN, Apr. 02 (MNA) – Foreign ministers of Iran, Azerbaijan and Turkey will meet in the Iranian city of Ramsar next week, Hikmet Hajiyev, Azerbaijani FM Spokesman told Trend on Friday.

According to the Azarbaijani news agency, the meeting is scheduled for April 5-6, during which foreign ministers of Iran, Azerbaijan and Turkey – Mohammad Javad Zarif, Elmar Mammadyarov, and Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu – will discuss regional cooperation, fight against international terrorism, cargo transportation, as well as the development of cooperation in political area.

Previous meetings of the three countries’ foreign ministers were held in Iran’s Urmia, Turkey’s Erzurum and Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

In the first meeting of the three FMs in Urmia, the sides issued a statement which stressed their common religious values and historical relations. The three countries reached an agreement to improve economic ties particularly in the sectors of trade, industry, investment, transportation, communication, energy, technology and tourism.
