TEHRAN, Jan. 31 (MNA) – Iran will hold the first small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) exporters conference in Tehran next week.

Exporters, traders, producers, directors of chambers of commerce and Iran Export Confederation will gather in Tehran next week to introduce the export potentials of Iran’s small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and propose new export markets in various areas particularly in neighboring countries and those in the Silk Road region.

The SME Exporters Conference will be held at Shahid Beheshti University, Tehran, on February 5, 2016, with the participation of more than 700 Iranian enterprises.

The topics of the conference and speeches will focus on reviewing export regulations and legal licenses, proposing strategies for entering international markets through the internet, presenting statistical reports on Iran’s exports to neighboring and Silk Road countries, examining existing capacities in those countries’ markets as well as evaluating Iranian government’s general policies regarding the development of small and medium-sized enterprises.

Concurrent with the conference, Iran’s commercial attachés in Iraq, Afghanistan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan as well as representatives from chambers of commerce in the aforementioned countries will discuss market potentials and existing opportunities in trade and export.
