TEHRAN, Jan. 29 (MNA) – “A Few Cubic Meters of Love,” directed by Jamshid Mahmoudi, will compete for awards in Rabat Film Festival in Morocco.

A Few Cubic Meters of Love, produced by Navid Mahmoudi, won the main prize of Dhaka Film Festival as the Best Film Award in Farabi Foundation. It is an account of Tehran’s small factories where uses cheap Afghan workers. The worker lives in one of many metal containers other Afghan workers live a life of destitution. Saber, an Iranian worker, meets Marouna who is daughter of Afghan worker, so a love story starts. 

Rabat Film Festival will be held January 29-February 5 in Morocco, and a number of films will participate in the festival from all over the world.

A Few Cubic Meters of Love has been rewarded as the Best Film in many festivals. If the film wins an award, it will be 8th international trophy. The movie has been the representative of Afghanistan’s cinema for Oscar as well.
