TEHRAN, Jan. 25 (MNA) – Head of Iran’s AEOI Salehi recounted that after lifting of anti-Iran sanctions, many countries with nuclear power technology are negotiating to have joint projects with Tehran.

Even the US government has agreed in the JCPOA to cooperate in nuclear energy technical interactions with Tehran especially in the case of re-designing Arak heavy water reactor, said the Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi, on Monday.

The official told the local media that a host of countries have proposed joint plans of nuclear power plants after the unfair anti-Iran sanctions were removed.

Iranian technicians and specialists are to re-design Arak heavy water reactor and American counterparts will review the new plans and make needed amendments, asserted Salehi.

He also named two major benefits for the international interaction in redesigning the reactor, the first of them to reassure that Iranian scientists have done a good job, and the second to fill the possible voids and flaws of Iran’s nuclear energy technology.
