TEHRAN, Jan. 09 (MNA) – Secretary of SNSC has said foreign powers’ objections would not wield any effect whatsoever on Iran’s deterrence power.

Ali Shamkhani was participating in a mourning ceremony in Tehran on Saturday when reporters accosted him to ask about his assessment of the US officials remarks who said that they would prepare ‘timely response’ to Iran’s missile tests; “we are working to build up the national deterrence power and will not be intimidated by foreign powers remarks or threats,” he told reporters in a terse response.

On the question whether US recent sanctions on Iran would violate JCPOA provisions, and what would be the government’s decision on the issue, secretary of Supreme National Security Council said that any violation of the JCPOA, if realized, would trigger a definite response by Iran’s foreign policy machinery.
