Speaking during a meeting with visiting Yemeni Ansarullah political delegation in Tehran, Amir-Abdollahian noted the recent talks of the Yemeni groups in Vienna, expressing the hope that the Yemeni groups could reach an agreement which embraces interests of Yemeni nation.
Underlining that Islamic Republic of Iran's position on Yemen has always been according to the people’s interests, Iranian diplomat called for an agreement between Yemen’s political parties that would guarantee the country’s interests.
"We favor the dialogue among Yemeni parties to finally achieve a political solution to the crisis in Yemen,” Amir-Abdollahian added.
Pointing to the attacks on the Yemeni institutions, residential areas, cities and villages, deputy foreign minister said the illegal measures have complicated the situation providing the ground for exploitation of the terrorist groups.
He also underlined the need for a halt to foreign interferences, comprehensive and constant ceasefire and breaking the human and economic siege in Yemen, calling for the international community to take responsibility for stopping the constant violation of Yemen’s sovereignty.
Meantime, Al-Bukhaiti, the head of Yemeni delegation to Iran, hailed Islamic Republic's efforts to stop the war and sending humanitarian aids to the affected country.
"Yemeni people are not even frustrated with the damage caused by foreign aggressions, but further strengthened seeing the wrong approaches which gives rise to the possibility of victory against foreign aggression," he added.
Pointing to the recent negotiations between Yemeni sides in Switzerland, Al-Bukhaiti underlined the dignified and logical position of Sana'a and expressed the hope to reach an agreement in the future in case the other side is serious.
