TEHRAN, Dec. 23 (MNA) – Iran’s Volleyball Federation has finalized Raúl Lucio Lozano’s accord to head Iran’s national squad, replacing Serbian Slobodan Kovač.

On November, Luzano was chosen to replace the Serbian in Iran’s volleyball national squad bench as manager. Now, he finalized the accord already agreed temporarily. Mohammadreza Davarzani, the head of volleyball federation attended the ceremony held in Hotel Academy in Tehran on Tuesday to finalize the Argentinian’s agreement.

Luzano is the current manager of Poland’s Cerrad Czarni Radom. He will start career in the national squad in Iranian New Year (beginning March 21 2016) as a replacement to Slobodan Kovač. Lozano’s compatriot Juan Manuel Cichello, former manager of Iran’s volleyball national squad, will be his aid. Luzano’s first matches will be in Brazil Rio 2016 qualification matches in Japan in next April.
