TEHRAN, June 14 (Mehr News Agency) -- Head of the Sacred Defense Cinema Association announced on Saturday his support for production of more films on the Iraqi-imposed war.

“By such support, the sacred defense movies would not only find their way into everyday life of people, but they would also hit the box office,” said Mohammadreza Sharafeddin.

Pointing to formation of several assemblies, he added that the assemblies are to select top works with the central theme of sacred defense. "Based on new policies, there will be no ex gratia loan for producers without previous corroboration."

He also called for further cooperation of cultural foundations with the association.
