DAMASCUS, Dec. 20 (MNA) – The Syrian army, along with the Popular Defense forces, retook strategic positions and killed about 40 terrorists in the provinces of Daraa, Lattakia, Hama and Idlib, military sources revealed Saturday.

The sources added, that in Daraa, in the south of the country, they eliminated 18 members of the Al Nusra Front, while in Lattakia regained control of facilities and villages near Mount Al Aswad Al Kabir.

In Hama and Idlib, Syrian troops reoccupied Jan Shejun with a balance of 22 dead terrorists.

The official report states, that were destroyed six armored and transport vehicles and two leaders of the group Aynad Aksa were killed.
