The Iranian deputy foreign minister met the minister on Wednesday and held talks on bilateral cooperation particularly ways of boosting economic ties in the post sanction era.
Referring to the friendly relations of Iran- Slovenia, Takht Ravanchi said that Iran sees no limits for broadening ties with Slovenia, in different fields particularly economy and trade.
He added the Slovenian economy minister is to visit Iran as head of an economic delegation and hoped that the trip will lead to new and effective steps toward boosting trade ties.
Given Iran’s potentials in engineering and technical services, exports and productions as well as its scientific achievements in nanotechnology and biotechnology, the official announced his country’s readiness to invest in joint ventures and plans.
Takht Ravanchi also added that both countries can boost cooperation in fields of oil, gas, vehicle manufacturing, agriculture, environment, shipping, banking as well as tourism.
Zdravko Počivalšek, for his part, lamented that the level of Iran- Slovenia’s economic ties are much lower than the capacities. He added that his country is fully prepared to boost ties with the Islamic Republic.
He added that Slovenia is keen to invest and cooperate in Iran’s IT and communications, energy, agriculture, medicine, transformation and tourism.
He said that four grand Slovenian companies have opened branches in Iran which I hope to inaugurate during my trip to Iran.
Moreover Takht Ravanchi held meetings with his Slovenian counterpart on Wednesday for bilateral talks and ways of boosting mutual ties.
During the meeting the Slovenian official expressed her contentment over the approval of draft resolution in IAEA Board of Governors and the closure of Iran’s PMD case and hoped that the two countries will boost ties in the post sanction era.
