TEHRAN, Dec. 08 (MNA) – Iran’s embassy and cultural attaché office attended the 21st Charity Bazaar in Sofia, Bulgaria.

The international bazaar is held annually, with the participation of cultural and political representatives of foreign countries and Bulgaria’s international institutes, on Christmas Eve.

Iran presented traditional and national foods, handicrafts as well as historical, literary and tourism books.

The event is held to raise funds for people in distress in Bulgaria, and to promote cultural diversity.

Iran’s pavilion was well received and visited by ambassadors and diplomats of different countries.

Every year, the Annual Charity Bazaar provides an opportunity for countries to proudly showcase their handmade crafts, music, souvenirs, folklore, national cuisine, clothing, literature, culture and tradition, according to the Bazaar website.
