"Once the anti-Iran sanctions threatened giant oil and gas companies, but now, with the removal of sanctions in prospect, it is expected to relieve the pressure on the foreign investors," said Amir Hossein Zamaninia, Iranian Deputy Oil Minister for International Affairs.
He made the remarks on Saturday, on the sideline of a ceremony to unveil new oil contracts in Tehran.
During the current talks, it has been agreed that the state members of the European Union along with the United States of America remove all anti-Iran sanctions posing restriction on Iran’s oil and gas industry, highlighted the Iranian official.
Zamaninia described Iran as the best destination for foreign investments in oil and gas industries considering all the problems in the region vis-à-vis all the positive elements about Iran.
