TEHRAN, Nov. 12 (MNA) – Iranian deputy FM for Arab-African affairs held talks with Omani Foreign Minister Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah on Vienna-II talks on Syria.

On the third leg of his regional tour, Amir-Abdollahian arrived in Muscat early Thursday and held a meeting with the Omani FM.

The two offices also discussed regional developments, political solutions for Syria’s crisis and the results of the first Vienna talks.

Amir-Abdollahian left the Lebanese capital, Beirut, for Muscat this morning. He was in Beirut early Wednesday and met Lebanese officials including the Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri as well as Hezbollah Secretary General Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah.

Abdollahian said that he was also supposed to meet Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam and Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil. But the officials were in Riyadh to attend the 4th Summit of South American-Arab Countries.

The Iranian official also met UN Special Coordinator of the Secretary-General for Lebanon Sigrid Kaag in Iran’s Embassy in Beirut.
