TEHRAN, Nov. 10 (MNA) – Iranian minister of cooperative, labor and social welfare has said Iran and Russia can have cooperation in deployment of work force to Russia as well as exchange of relevant experiences.

At a meeting with his Russian counterpart, Iran’s Ali Rabiee noted the good achievements in the fields of difficult jobs, education, vocation and other areas adding “we can conduct knowledge and technical training exchanges with the Russians.”

On the sidelines of the meeting with the Russian Minister of Labor and Social Protection Maxim Tupilin and his accompanying delegation, Rabiee announced the signing of an MoU with Russia enumerating various possible fields of collaboration between the two countries including social security, job relations, employment development and labor migration, technical and professional training, social protection and welfare as well as work force dispatch.”

He further expressed hope towards boosting ties with Russia in the areas of job health and safety adding, “we can address the issue of persons with disabilities as well by exchanging knowledge.”

Maxim Tupilin, for his part, emphasized the similarities between the two countries in terms of insurance and pension funds reiterating, “a large number of people in Russia are receiving subsides and we are trying to identify high-income groups to cut off their subsidies in favor of the poor.”

He deemed Iran as a country with a long history and noted, “we plan to increase cooperation based on professional expertise by pursuing ways of strengthening pre-retirement and social security systems and mechanisms as well as training new personnel.”

“Our objective is to raise the expertise of those working in the public sector,” said the Russian minister concluding, “accordingly, we have prepared 6000 professional standardization documents to know exactly what to expect from our staff.”
