TEHRAN, Nov. 08 (MNA) – Cooperating with Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman (SBUK), Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) of Cyprus will hold Persian-language courses.

A joint meeting was held between the chancellor of Eastern Mediterranean University of Cyprus and the officials of SBUK during which Basiri, the cultural and social deputy of the Iranian university said that Persian-language courses and Iranian cultural week will be held at EMU.

Basiri said that Kerman enjoys an ancient culture and the language spoken in the region is very close to the old Persian language and added “the university is ready to expand cooperation with the university in Cyprus.”

Moreover Seydnejad, the director of international scientific collaborations of the Iranian university said that SBUK enjoys vast ties with several other foreign universities including Australia and Belgium and it tends to expand ties with the Eastern Mediterranean University of Cyprus.
