MOSCOW, Nov. 03 (MNA) – The President of the Air Transport Agency of Russia (RosAviatsya), Alexander Neradko, asked Monday the community of aviation experts to refrain from hasty conclusions regarding the catastrophe of the Airbus A321 in Egypt.

The aircraft of the company Kogalymavia crashed at dawn on Saturday in the Sinai Peninsula with 224 people on board, about 20 minutes after takeoff from the Egyptian resort of Sharm El Sheikh, bound for St. Petersburg.

In a call televised by the channel Rossia 24, Neradko said that Egyptian experts, members of a special Russian commission, the International Committee of the Aviation, and representatives of manufacturers and suppliers such as Germany, France and the Netherlands are working at crash site.

Unlike the information disseminated by various media, the source clarified that they have not yet proceeded to decrypt the black boxes, a procedure that will be carried out along with all parties involved, emphasized Neradko.

He cited the source as probable date Tuesday, when representatives of Iceland, one of the countries that produced the A321, before turning it over to Kogalymavia, should arrive in Cairo. The plane was in operation for over 18 years.

On the other hand, the vice president of the Russian airline Alexei Smirnov warned about the false nature of the videos spread on the Internet on Monday, that suggest that a missile fired by terrorists would have downed the aircraft.

We do not exclude any version, but consider these images that appeared on the Internet as false, said Smirnov to the Russian media.

The official said that the company excluded "totally a malfunction of the aircraft and an error by the pilot," Interfax quoted.

President Vladimir Putin demanded a thorough investigation of what he called a tragedy for his country.

Putin said at a meeting with Transport Minister Maksim Sokolov, that a panorama of the catastrophe "with full details" should be offered.

The president paid attention to the social, psychological and emotional support to families of the victims.

The Emergency Situations Minister, Vladimir Puchkov, announced that efforts to search for bodies and debris from the plane will continue until as long as necessary. Rescue forces of the Russian civil defense extended to 30 kilometers the area of exploration at the site of the disaster.

The fragments found are being transported to be examined in Cairo, said the director of the department of rescue, Alexander Agafonov.
