The film is about an old man who perhaps knows better than anyone else how to save water with droplets melting from ice. He reproduces the water from ice and ice from water in a form of cycle which becomes a part of his life.
Outstanding shorts from all genres including narrative, documentary, animation and experimental films compete in the festival’s National and International Competition categories for the Golden Cat awards.
The 2015 edition of the event is slated for November 17-22 in Turkey’s Izmir. Some 591 short films from 85 countries were submitted to the event of which 10 were shortlisted for the international part and 26 were chosen for the national section.
Established in 2000, the Izmir Short Film Festival is one of the most important short film festivals in Turkey. As the sole film festival in Izmir for years, the Festival has a key role in the cultural landscape of the city.
