Ali Larijani who was visiting Garmsar, 58 km east of Tehran in the desert province of Semnan, attended a ceremony to pay tribute to the martyrs of the Sacred War on Monday. He told reporters that west had sabotaging the JCPOA path to implementation, and believed that west had a long history of hollow claims; “they had even used assertive and harsh tone toward Iran which our nation would not heed, since we have a clear path ahead,” Larijani added.
“We do however care about country’s defensive infrastructures; the single-emergency bill addressed this issue well in all sectors of ground, naval, air, missile, and nuclear defense arrangements,” Larijani told the ceremony.
Still going back to nuclear program, Larijani said that in the nuclear issue, Iranians had found their path; “after a long series of negotiations, we secured the right to indigenized nuclear technology, and it will be improved and developed; for the US and other western countries, the implementation of the JCPOA poses an acid test, where if they fail to remain committed to their obligations, in line with provisions of the JCPOA, our conditions will be reversible to previous conditions,” he emphasized.
“We will watch their conduct in implementation of the JCPOA closely through proper means; If they cooperate well with us, they will be better off with our nation, which would help bring security to the region,” Larijani stipulated.
