The official also stressed, “Japan is the perfect partner for the development of trade and economic activities in Iran which helps improve economic conditions and meet the need for joint venture, new technologies and development of export market.”

He emphasized the need to support economic activities between the two sides and announced his agreement with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif in the context of investment protection as well as the establishment of the two countries’ Cooperation Council.

Fumio Kishida also noted the upcoming visit of a Japanese economic delegation in the field of urban planning and transport in near future and added, “a conference will be held to provide the proper grounds for the development of trade between Iran and Japan.”
