TEHRAN, Oct. 11 (MNA) – A senior nuclear negotiator has predicted the implementation of JCPOA within a week as ‘highly likely.’

Abbas Araghchi who was addressing a meeting of ‘Peace and Islam’ held in Islamic Azad University on Sunday, said that the 3-month period of examining JCPOA would end in October 18; “within this week, in case that Parliament approves JCPOA and Guardian Council also confirms it as law, the legal procedure has been completed for official approval of the JCPOA, and we would safely claim its implementation,” he told reporters.

“The implementation of the JCPOA is called ‘confirmation day,’ and this is the day the joint commission will meet in Vienna possibly and highly likely in upcoming Monday, October 18, when the EU is to announce that it officially removes Iranian sanctions and US Congress would follow the suit; however, the actualization of these will only be a possibility only after Iran has done its share of commitments provisioned by the JCPOA,” Araghchi added.
