BAGHDAD, Oct. 07 (MNA) – The leadership of the Popular Mobilization Forces, allied to Iraq's Government, compared the serious military reaction of Russia against ISIL with the inefficiency of the US anti-terror coalition.

“So far, we have not seen any really serious effort to fight against ISIL,” said Hadi Al-Ameri, Chief of the paramilitary organization basically formed by Shia volunteers who support the Army and the Iraqi security forces in the fight against Takfiri group.

In statements broadcast by Al-Ghadeer television channel Tuesday, Al-Ameri explained that Washington's lack of will made Baghdad authorities to turn their sight to Moscow seeking effective aid for defeating Takfiri terrorism.

In reference to the US-led coalition, the Popular Mobilization leader said that some try to contain ISIL, but not to really destroy it, and prevent its fighters to come back to Europe, which is the place where they come from.

“That lack of seriousness of the international coalition made us to change our course and Russia is seriously operating against ISIL," stressed Al-Ameri.

The government of Prime Minister Heidar Al-Ebadi announced an agreement over a week ago for establishing in Baghdad a center of coordination and exchange of intelligence information along with Russia, Iran, and Syria to fight against ISIL, and said that he would consider a possible Russian military aid.
