TEHRAN, Sep. 27 (MNA) – Top advisor to commander of IRGC Quds Force has said that the West Asia has turned into the battle scene between the Islamic Resistance led by Iran and the enemy of Resistance, the US.

Pointing to the Leader’s recent remarks on the need to counter the enemy’s infiltration, Brigadier General Iraj Masjedi asserted that, “the Leader has always underscored the wisdom of the Iranian nation and authorities; however, military organizations are in the center of attention.”

“We should avoid negligence and maintain our readiness and be wary on security issues since the enemies particularly the US and Israel intend to penetrate into the country by any possible means,” he added.

Noting that Iran should block enemies' influence upon organizations, institutions and society, the senior commander continued that, “the Leader has emphasized our preparation and readiness and fortunately, IRGC is completely sensitive on this issue by planning to avoid enemy’s penetration.”

Referring to various aspects of infiltration, Masjedi stated that, “infiltration has social, cultural, psychological and economic sides and we need to be prepared in every possible way to avoid enemy's penetration.”

Deeming the West Asia as the scene of competition and confrontation, he stressed that, “this confrontation is going on between the Islamic Resistance with the leadership of Iran and Americans as the enemy of Resistance.”

Underlining that Iran must take the upper hand against the US in the region, the official noted that, “if we fail to confront the US with a weak performance, the enemy will exert its influence in the region.”

“In addition to preventing the penetration of the enemy, we need to expand Iran and the Islamic Resistance forces’ influence in the region,” Brig. Gen. Masjedi concluded.
