TEHRAN, Sep. 20 (MNA) – Iran and North Korea explored probable ways to enhance cooperation in tobacco industry.

Chairman of Iran Tobacco Company Mohammad Hossein Barkhordar in a meeting with North Korean Ambassador to Tehran Kang Sam-hyon explored avenues for broadening mutual cooperation as well as joint investment in tobacco industry on Sunday.

They also heighlighted the two sides' commonalities and good relations, public relation office of Iran's Tobacco Company reported.

Pointing to both sides' economic capabilities, the North Korean ambassador called for expansion of economic cooperation mainly in tobacco industry.

The two sides also exchanged views on production of cigars, cigarettes, tobacco, raw material and exchange of technological know-how in the field.
