TEHRAN, Sep. 19 (MNA) – Hundreds of Iranian people held protest rallies across Iran to condemn the Israeli regime’s desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Following the Friday Prayers, Iranian protesters took to the streets in Tehran, and other cities to decry the Israeli crimes against the Palestinian nation and its daily attacks on Muslim worshippers in the highly respected place in Palestine.

The rallies in Iran came after a fresh round of violent clashes between Israeli forces and Palestinians at Al-Aqsa Mosque, prompted by calls from Jewish fanatics to organize large-scale Jewish visits there to mark the beginning of the Jewish New Year Rosh Hashanah, which was followed by security restrictions and finally attacks to the worshippers in the mosque.

Israeli forces raided several neighborhoods across East Jerusalem late Thursday as clashes continued for the fourth consecutive day.
