TEHRAN, Sep. 09 (MNA) – Iran's Judiciary Chief described theoretical and scientific dialogues with a focus on human rights between Iran and Austria an important step to mutual understanding of the concept of human dignity.

During a meeting with Austria's President Heinz Fischer here on Tuesday, Ayatollah Sadegh Amoli Larijani expressed that the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready for holding joint meetings to address human rights issues.

Stressing that the real Islam is a religion based on respect for human dignity, Amoli Larijani declined any acts affiliated to Islam by some terrorist groups, saying that they have nothing to do with true Islam and are not acceptable in the religion.

Judiciary Chief described Islamic Republic of Iran's system a new structure based on public participation through voting in elections as well as Islamic rationality.

He said Western efforts to impose their assumptions about the human and his nature to other nations and countries is objectionable.

"Some countries violate human rights strongly, however, they hold good relations with the West, and their inhuman acts are never condemned by the West," Amoli Larijani noted.

Austria's President Fischer, for his part, welcomed Larijani's proposal on holding scientific talks on the concept of human rights and emphasized the constructive dialogue with the authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran to reach a common understanding of respect for human rights.

"We believe the countries can raise their own structures based on respect for human dignity," he underlined.
