TEHRAN, Sep. 06 (MNA) – Copper concentrate output capacity will rise by 25 percent to one million tons by the end of this year, reported managing director of National Copper Industries Company.

In a ceremony to inaugurate second phase of the copper condensation line of Sarcheshme Copper Complex, Rafsanjan, Ahmad Morad Alizadeh announced that, “with operation of the factory, the concentrate output capacity of the complex rose up by 25 percent to 680,000 tons from 520,000 tons.”

“The second phase of the Sarcheshme Copper Production Complex Concentration Development Line was put into operation with capital of 80 million euros plus 66 million dollars,” he added.

Alizadeh underlined that big projects have been developed in the copper industry and all stakeholders in the field insist on carrying them out.

“In the development section, a program has been designed to make further revisions in the next two years and a total of 18 projects with a capital of 2.2 billion euros as well as 140 million dollars have been planned to become administrative,” he noted.
