Iran's women and men Karate National Team will attend the 13th AKF Senior Championships due to be held in Yokohama of Japan on September 3-7.
The Iranian national karate team will participate in all fields of the Yokohama Asian Karate Championships with 14 men and 11 women athletes in Individual and Team Kata and Individual and Team Kumite.
Iranian male and female teams will be headed by Gholamreza Dabaghian and Fariba Bodaghi, respectively.
Head of Iranian Karate Federation Alireza Samandar, who is a candidate for Asian Karatedo Federation (AKF) board of directors, will also accompany the team in Japan.
Members of the presiding board of the AKF will be elected on Thursday, September 3, during the Asian Karate Championship in Yokohama, Japan.
