TEHRAN, Aug. 29 (MNA) – Iran and Serbia on Friday signed contract worth $1.3 million on procurement of bogie parts used in railway industry.

Pointing to improvement of relations in economic areas, as well as cultural and tourism fields, Iranian Ambassador to Serbia Majid Fahimpour said signing of the contract proves mutual will of officials in Tehran and Belgarde.

Welcoming presence of Serbian businessmen and investors in Iran during his speech at the signing ceremony, Famipour said the Islamic Republic is ready to facilitate their cooperation with Iranian counterparts.

Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Domestic Trade and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajić expressed his country's willingness in increasing its ties with Iran in trade and economic fields.

He said Serbia is ready to give rise to the level of cooperation with Iran in car manufacturing, tourism, agriculture, construction and trade
