“During the Syrian health minister’s visit to Pasteur Institute in Iran, the Syrians considered Pasteur as a well-known Institute and announced that a technical team will enter Iran to receive vaccines in near future”, added Qaneyee.
Pointing that the vaccines bought from Turkey by the Syrian government had caused certain problems in the children, he said that, “vaccine is a strategic product related to national security issues; therefore, it is vital for export products of a country to be hygienic.”
Qaneyee stressed that vaccines should be provided from friend countries and should have a known origin; since the vaccine is given to a healthy individual and they need to feel safe about the integrity of the product.
Referring to Pasteur Institute’s vast efforts in vaccine production, he reported that, “these vaccines will be delivered to other Islamic countries under the title of technology transfer and export and the details of this project will be announced soon.”
According to the head of Pasteur Institute of Iran, Iran will soon export the two crucial Hepatitis and BCG vaccines to Syria.
