Iran’s Football Federation announced the timetable of national football and futsal teams. In U-19, Iran’s women’s squad is in China to play against South Korea, North Korea, and Thailand during Asian Women’s Championship. According to timetable, Iran will face South Korea on Wednesday, August 19, North Korea on Friday, August 21, and Thailand on next Sunday, August 23.
Iran’s women’s national futsal will play friendlies in preparation for the first version of Asian Championships to be held in Malaysia; the first friendly will be against Uzbekistan’s women’s futsal national squad, respectively on August 17, 18, and 20. Iran’s women’s futsal national squad will play Hong Kong during the Asian Championships on September 21, with Uzbekistan on September 22, and with Malaysia on September 23.
Iran’s U-16 football national squad is in preparation for Asian Championship qualifiers to be held in Tabriz, and will play in 2 friendly matches against Syria in Tehran. Hamid Alidousti’s men will play in Asian Championships qualifiers against Lebanon on September 16; India on September 18, and Bahrain on September 20.
Iran’s U-19 football national squad will play in four friendly matches against Syria and Iraq in road to Asian Champinships qualifiers to be held in Mashhad, respectively on September 18 and 20 (against Syria) and August 25 and 27 (against Iraq).
Their Mashhad matches will be played against Nepal on October 2, against Jordan on October 4, and against Kuwait on October 6.
Iran’s Olympic (U-23) national squad will also visit the Netherlands (August 30-September 9) to prepare for Rio Olympics 2016 for a number of preparatory matches. It will also play West Asian Games to be held in Qatar (September 30- October 13).
Iran’s football national squad will play Guam (Karaj Enghelab Stadium, Septemebr 3) and India (Ricantinavara, India, September 8) during Russia World Cup 2018 qualifiers in Asian region.
Iran will also host neighboring countries matches during Russia World Cup 2018 and Asian Nations Cup in UAE (2019), where Iraq (as host) will play Taiwan on September 3 and Afghanistan (as host) will play Japan on September 8.
