Rasoul Khadem coaches a talented, four-athlete Iran men’s freestyle delegation at the Stepan Sarkisyan Cup in Yerevan, Armenia, July 18-19 while he is accompanied by two assistants Amir Tavakkolian and Hossein Karimi.
The Iranian freestyle squad will leave Tehran on Friday July 17 to take part in the two day event.
The freestyle wrestling international tournament dedicated to Stepan Sarkisyan takes place in Sarkisyan's hometown of Vanadzor, Armenia as of 1996. Wrestlers from Armenia, Russia, Georgia, Ukraine and Iran are invited to compete. Sarkisyan was president of the Wrestling Federation of Armenia from 1998-2002, and in 2002, became the honorary president.
