TEHRAN, Jul. 15 (MNA) – Iranian senior negotiator has rejected US officials’ claims on lifting sanctions gradually.

Deputy Foreign Minister for European and American Affairs Majid Takht-Ravanchi was reacting to US officials’ remarks which claimed that anti-Iran sanctions would be lifted gradually, adding that the sanctions would be completely eased after the two sides fulfilled their commitments.

"Sanctions will be completely lifted when the two sides (Iran and the 5+1) complied by their commitments completely," he said. The content of the text of agreement will be clear to all after the main text and its annexes are released, he was quoted by Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs website as saying.

“All economic, financial, trade and banking sanctions would be lifted and this issue has been stipulated clearly in the text of the agreement,” Takht-Ravanchi asserted.

Elsewhere regarding mechanism of implementing the text of agreement between Iran and the 5+1, he said, "when it is time to implement the deal, what the two sides need to do is clear. On one specified day, they will pledge to lift sanctions and we would start to work when they abide by their commitments."
