TEHRAN, Jul. 08 (MNA) – As the plan for President Rouhani’s trip to Russia has changed, Iranian President is leaving for Moscow this evening to attend summits of Shanghai Cooperation Organization and BRICS.

President Rouhani was scheduled to leave Tehran on Thursday, July 9th, however his departure has changed to be today.

On his two-day visit, he is scheduled to attend BRICS summit as a special guest as well as a lecturer. Rouhani will also deliver a speech at SCO summit. Bilateral meetings with some heads of the member-state are also expected for Iran’s president on the sidelines of the summits.

City of Ufa, capital of Bashkortostan Republic of Russia is hosting both events as well as Eurasia Summit Thursday and Friday July 9 and 10.
