TEHRAN, MAY 26 (MNA) – Tehran will host the first international symposium of new technologies in transportation (hybrid and electric cars) June 3-4.

The conference hall of Iran Research Institute of Petroleum Industry in Tehran will bring together specialist panels, and will display test-performance of hybrid and electric cars in an attempt to officially promote the new technology in the automobile markets. The side-event will put in public show the latest achievements of domestic automakers and spare part suppliers.

 The symposium will be attended by National Transportation and Fuel Management Organization, Department of Environment, National Standard Organization, Iranian National Standards Organization, municipalities, Bus and Taxi Cab Unions, Automotive Engineering Research Center, University of Tehran Vehicle, Fuel, and Environment Research Institute, Transportation Unions, Iranian Energy Efficiency Organization, and other domestic and international automakers.
