TEHRAN, May 11 (MNA) – Iran’s minister of cooperatives, labor and social welfare will travel to Iraq on Monday.

Following Tehran-Baghdad diplomatic trips, Iran’s Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare Ali Rabiee will travel to Iraq at the head of a delegation on Monday.

Rabiee is scheduled to hold meetings with Iraqi Prime Minister Noori al-Maliki, Parliament Speaker Salim al-Jabouri, Minister of Labour and Social Affairs Dr. Al Rubaiee, Minister of Trade and Industry Samal Sardar and also Iraqi Commerce Minister.

Last June, Minister of Cooperatives, Labour and Social Welfare of the Islamic Republic of Iran and his Iraqi counterpart stressed the need for signing a memorandum of understanding between the two countries and reaffirmed the training of Iraq’s vocational and technical teachers in Iran, on the sidelines of the International Labour Conference (2015).
