The new UN special envoy to Yemen Ismail Cheikh Ahmed and Iran’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Gholamali Khoshrou held talks late Tuesday to discuss Yemen issue, dispatching humanitarian assistance and the possible ways for settling crisis in the Arab country.

The meeting was held on Tuesday at the residence of Iranian ambassador and representative to the United Nations where the two are taking part in the 2015 Review Conference of the Parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT).
