TEHRAN, May 05 (MNA) – Iranian short film Hug directed by Teymour Ghaderi will compete at Con Film Festival in Philadelphia.

Produced by the Art Forum of Kurdistan province, Ghaderi’s 7-minute film Hug narrates the story of a soldier who does an unusual work to get a few hours off. 

Con Film Festival will take place on May 7-10, 2015 in Philadelphia. The event showcases the next generation of pop culture entertainment. Winners of the CON Film Festival will not only receive cash prizes but will be considered for distribution on CONtv which is a new digital entertainment network devoted exclusively to the fanspace that provides audiences access to thousands of hours of content showcasing an original slate of programming, as well as an eclectic catalog of over 1,200 must-watch titles.

Teymour Ghaderi’s works have experienced up to 200 international presences.  His another film, It Hits upon the Roof, has been screened in several international film festivals such as 2014 Lucania Film Festival in Italy, Lahore Short Film Festival 2013 Celebrating Iranian Heritage and the third MiCe Film Festival in Valencia, Spain.
