IRGC Commander Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari has praised resistance of Yemeni people against the global hegemony of the arrogant powers and called it a big accomplishment of Iranian people’s Islamic Revolution of 1979.
Delivering speech at a ceremony held in Tehran to mark the Ideology and Politics Day in IRGC, top commander restated the core philosophy of IRGC as the defender of the Islamic Revolution to develop the achievements of the revolution.
He praised the progress and success of the Islamic Republic and expressed his own obligation for more endeavor be put in this trend.
Evaluating the global status of the Islamic Revolution, he called the awakening of the people of the world, especially Muslims, an achievement of Iran’s revolution which taught the nations to resist.
"Iran's opposition against the arrogant powers is bearing fruit now in the world as more nations are being awakened," he said and called for checking up the Islamic Revolution in order to find and solve the problems as a duty of defensive organizations of the Islamic Revolution.
Referring to Leader’s words, Jafari gave assurance that Iran has passed through security or military threats thanks to selfless deeds of martyrs and their families and is a stable country with decent interactions between the state and the nation.
“It is a common belief of friend and foe that Iran’s military might is indestructible,” the commander boasted while necessitating more initiative in economic and social equality realms.
Touching upon the anniversary of Martyr Motahari’s assassination by Forghan militia in 1979, Jafari called him “an innovative scholar who had creative methods in teaching the youth of that age” and urged his fellows to implement cutting-edge approaches to their tasks.
