TEHRAN, Apr. 25 (MNA) – Against all international sanctions, Iran sold 122000 tons natural gas condensate to Poland.

Despite all international sanctions against trading with the Iranian oil and gas sector, Iran exported its first gas embargo to Europe after a 4-year-old pause.

Accordingly, after signing a new contract between the National Iranian Oil Company and a Chinese refining company and as gas condensate export of the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone (PSEEZ) has increased by 10000 b/d, the first shipment of Iran’s gas condensate has been embarked for a European refinery.

In accordance with the new agreement, Poland's largest oil refiner PKN Orlen has transited a cargo of Iran’s gas condensate to its Mazeikiai refinery in Lithuania.

The weight of the cargo is estimated to be of 122000 tons and the authorities of the Mazeikiai refinery has declined to comment on Irano-Polish deal, the Reuters reported 20 hours ago.

Meanwhile, Seyed Mohsen Ghamsari, the director for international affairs at the National Iranian Oil Company in a recent interview with the Mehr News Agency noted the start of negotiations with Asian and European refineries and the former customers of the Iranian oil and reiterated that after the removal of international sanctions and reaching a comprehensive nuclear deal Iranian oil will surely return to the international market.

Furthermore, after the startup of the phase 12 of the South Pars gas field as the biggest phase of the project and parts of phases 15 to 18, the capacity of production and exportation of gas condensate has boosted enormously.

Iran’s last year export hit more than 11,392,000 tons of condensate gas from the Assaluyeh Port valued at $ 10.041 billion, official statistics issued by the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone (PSEEZ) confirmed.

The annual export of Iran’s condensate gas in the last solar year in comparison with the year before saw 19 percent increase in weight and 17 percent increase in value and accordingly after the startup of the phase 12 and parts of the phases 15 to 19 is hoped to increase more in the current year.

At the same time, the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (IRISL), transporting 100 million tones of crude oil annually, has announced readiness for shipping gas condensate.
