In a message to Iran’s President, Ayat. Khamenei extended his condolences to Hassan Rouhani and his family, praying for patience of the bereaved and peace of her soul.
Meanwhile, Head of the Expediency Council of Iran Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, Iran’s Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani and Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani also sent separate condolence messages to the president.
The mother of the Iranian president, Sakineh Peivandi, passed away on Friday at the age of 90.
