ZAHEDAN, Oct. 18 (MNA) – Makran, the pristine Sea of Oman coasts have unnoticed investment opportunities for public and entrepreneurs as well.

Amin Behzad Mehr, head of Research and Training Workgroup of Makran R&D Headquarters told reporters during a meeting of the Workgroup in Chahbahar on Saturday that the coasts had great potentials to contribute to national wealth generation, which he believed, had been largely ignored by the local public and entrepreneurs as well.

“The unnoticed opportunities should be activated for rapid development of Makran and subsequently of Islamic Republic of Iran through devising approaches focused on developing the region,” said Behzad Mehr, who is also head of Chabahar Maritime University.

“The Headquarters has launched development plans in the region with the objective to deepen and regulate training of human resource as guarantee of sustainable development of strategic region of Makran, under the auspices of provincial governor and governor of Chahbahar,” emphasized Behzad Mehr. “In line with these objectives, it is necessary to make a priority human resource training in future plans,” he added.

He cited ‘targeted skilled and competent human force, improvement of knowledge of local human force, providing sustainable and productive employment, training forces with expertise in all fields for Makran, inculcating the local young cohort with necessary expertise and skills, and preparing the grounds for optimum practical training’ as most important objectives of the Workgroup.

“Human resource development with different skill and expertise would contribute significantly to region’s development and to attainment of near future objectives of sustainable development,” the head of Workgroup asserted.
