TEHRAN, Sep. 25 (MNA) – 5 Iranian artists displayed their visual arts in the 8th Art Expo Malaysia (AEM) fair on Wednesday.

The Art Expo Malaysia (AEM) which celebrates its eight year in 2014 officially started in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday and showcased works by artists from more than 30 countries in the form of 70 galleries.

Fathollah Marzban and Asghar Yaghoubi are among these Iranian artists to have their works showcased in Malaysia art fair last night. Their works have been presented in the form of oil painting, line drawing, watercolor, and tiles painting.

In the Art Expo Malaysia 2013, 12 Iranian artists had their works put on display, which comprised of calligraphy, miniature, gilding, painting, and tile painting.

THE Art Expo Malaysia (AEM) celebrates its eight year in 2014 as the longest running art fair in Southeast Asia, a rainbow package of art from the East and West and also from the South and Central America apart from Central Asia.

THE Art Expo Malaysia (AEM) which was started in 2007 by entrepreneur-impresario Datuk Vincent Sim Tiak Choo, was to fulfill his dream of having an art fair to bring together some of the finest artworks from all over the world to Kuala Lumpur, all under one roof. It is the longest running art fair in Southeast Asia and has hosted works from the East and West and also from the South and Central America apart from Central Asia.
