TEHRAN, August 3 (Mehr News Agency) -- Senegal Saturday defeated Iran's representative, Fajr-e Sepassi, in the 7th "Friendship Cup" of Saudi Arabia although it reduced to 10 men in the 23rd minute.

Senegal slotted home in the 13th and 21st minutes to hand the Iranian side a 2-0 loss.

   

Fajr possessed both ball and field since the second goal and attacked the African woodwork several times but it failed to score and lost 2-0 in the normal time.

   

In its second game, Fajr meets the Saudi Arabian under-23 team Monday.

   

Friendship Cup started Friday and 10 teams are competing in the event.
