TEHRAN, March 3 (MNA) – Iran’s Parliament speaker has said terrorist groups disturb Iran-Pakistan border security which brings tensions in the two countries’ relations and requires Pakistani security forces to take steps to solve the Iranian border guards’ hostage case soon.

Pakistan’s Balochistan Assembly speaker, Mir Jan Muhammad Khan Jamali, met with Iran’s Parliament speaker, Dr Ali Larijani, in Tehran on Sunday.

Larijani pointed to the long history of relations between two nations in historical and cultural fields and asserted that the relations have always been friendly which is a strong support for development of bilateral political, economical and cultural ties.

He also emphasized on implementation of economical projects including gas and electricity exportation from Iran to Pakistan to increase investments between the two countries.

Larijani pointed to some terrorist groups disturbing security of Iran-Pakistan borders and asserted that such issues bring tensions in two countries’ relations which requires Pakistani security forces to take steps to solve the Iranian border guards’ hostage case soon.

Also Pakistan’s Balochistan Assembly speaker, Mir Jan Muhammad Khan Jamali, believed that foreign forces presence in the region along side with terrorist groups disturbs security of the region and added that intelligence, security commission should be established to increase regional security by permanent cooperation and consultations.
