Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh who was speaking in the meeting with Turkish Minister of Economy, told that hopefully with a memorandum of understanding signed by Iran and Turkey, businessmen and industrial entrepreneurs would no longer face problems.
“The government has now normalized relations with the rest of the world, and the visits to Iran by French, Dutch, and German and other European countries’ delegations attests to these laudable attempts,” said the minister.
He also pointed his knowledge of trade and commercial ties between Iran and Turkey, and also of businesses active in the country. “We could address the possible reduction of tariffs on imported goods,” Nematzadeh added.
Nihat Zeybekci expressed satisfaction to visit the Trade minister. “We are working to arrange the ground for Iranian and Turkish tradesmen to do their investments without any cumbersome regulations in place,” he added, and that “the trade volume between Turkey and Iran has not been so far satisfactory, and it should be improved. With the strong will by both countries’ officials, an improved trade volume would be realized between the two countries.”
