TEHRAN, Jan. 18 (MNA) – Massimo Aparo, a senior director of the IAEA safeguards, has entered Tehran Saturday morning to report on the first step of nuclear deal implementation in Iran.

Aparo arrived in Tehran Saturday morning and was welcomed by Iranian officials at the airport. Behrouz Kamalvandi, Atomic Energy Organization of Iran's spokesman, said: “Aparo is IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano’s aid and will speak about the first step of nuclear deal implementation with officials of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization safeguards.”

“IAEA inspectors will report the voluntary measures of the nuclear deal by Iranians on January 20 to the agency, thus the implementation of the Geneva Nuclear Deal starts officially.” Kamalvandi said.

He asserted that “according to the deal P5+1 will also start the agreement to ease the sanctions upon Iran, as soon as Iran starts the implementation of the interim deal on January 20 for the six coming months.”
