Iran not to negotiate with US on regional issues

TEHRAN, Oct. 08 (MNA) – IRGC commander Maj. Gen. Mohammad Ali Jafari pronounced Iran’s plans to resolve the region’s issues somewhere other than the negotiation table stressing that nothing remains to negotiate.

Speaking at the strategic council meeting of IRGC, Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari gave an accounts of American’s aggressive actions against Iran within the past months and stated “as we’ve stated before, if US new sanctions are implemented, the country must remove their regional bases from within the 2000 kilometer radius of Iran’s missile range.”

He went on to say if the US government is truly considering to include IRGC in the list of terrorist groups, the IRGC will treat US army in the same vein as ISIL terrorist group.

“If American’s main goal in raising such topics is to open a negotiation door with Iran, then they have chosen the wrong path” He asserted. Iran plans to resolve regional problems somewhere other than the negotiation table as nothing remains to be said nor anyone to negotiate with.

Evaluating Americans’ behavior, he emphasized that the new sanctions won’t leave any options for the US to interact with Iran.

IRGC commander said America’s behavior proves that Iran can’t rely on JCPOA to devise its foreign relations, adding that “Americans should know that Iran will take advantage of Trump’s ridiculous treatment of JCPOA to advance missile, regional and defensive programs.”
